On 13–14 November, a two-day training was held in Fergana, Uzbekistan,
as part of the regional programme ‘Climate Risk Management in Central Asia,’
implemented with the support of GIZ. The training focused on climate risk
assessment, raising awareness of natural hazards, and improving interagency
coordination at the local level.
On November 14, 2025, a roundtable on “Implementation of the Principles of the Aarhus Convention in Kazakhstan: Results and Priority Directions for Further Development” was held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
On 12 November 2025, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) brought together professors across Central Asia to discuss the development of a new regional university course “Integration of Variable Renewable Energy (vRE) into Power Systems in Central Asia.”
