The competition for education in the Masters’ program in Integrated Water Management (MA IWM) at the Kazakh-German University in Almaty in 2016-2018 



Kazakh-German University announces the start of the competition for education in the Masters’ program in Integrated Water Management (MA IWM) in Almaty in 2016-2018. 

In the frames of the competition, the “Smart Waters” project implemented by CAREC with financial support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) provides an opportunity for studying of additional master students - two people from every target country of the project - Central Asia and Afghanistan. 

The main objective of this MA Programme is to contribute to the overall development of the management of transboundary water and related resources in Central Asia at the national and interstate levels by capacity building among the professionals managing water resources and supporting development of knowledge and information base for a sustainable management of transboundary water and related resources. 
Representatives of governmental agencies at the national and local levels, civil society organizations and basin councils from Central Asia and Afghanistan are invited to participate in the Masters' program. 

Selected graduates passed the interview and competitive selection, will be provided with scholarships and courses of English and Russian language, if necessary. 

The deadline for submitting documents to KGU: not later than July 10, 2016
