Executive Director of CAREC is awarded in the nomination «For academic integrity»  


On May 19, 2017 Executive Director of CAREC – Dr Iskandar Abdullaev is awarded in the nomination «For academic integrity» by Almaty Management University (AlmaU) in the framework of the Forum titled «Entrepreneurship Education in Rising Societies».

According to the analysis of the National Center for Scientific and Technical Expertise Dr Abdullaev is one of the authors who has a high citation of scientific papers and a high Hirsch index on publications in the field of social sciences.

The Forum brought together prominent Kazakhstani and international experts, decision-makers, representatives of entrepreneurial community and academia in a thoughtful discussion of up-to-date trends, challenges and traits shaping the contemporary entrepreneurial education in a rapidly changing society and global environment.

The Forum agenda was dedicated to the latest developments in entrepreneurial education, digitization, the impact of investments, development of new forms of entrepreneurship, as well as gauging the potential momentum to be generated from the development of entrepreneurship in certain industries.

Background

- The h-index is an author-level metric that attempts to measure both the productivity and citation impact of the publications of a scientist or scholar. The index is based on the set of the scientist's most cited papers and the number of citations that they have received in other publications.

- Almaty Management University is one of the first business universities in Kazakhstan. In 2008-2010, AlmaU was recognized as the business university № 1 in Kazakhstan by the world rating agency Eduniversal.
