The CAREC Country Office for Kyrgyzstan became a member of the association of the legal entities (ALE) “Green Alliance.KG”.
The acting Director of the CAREC Country Office for Kyrgyzstan Kuban Matraimov and the Executive Director of ALE “Green Alliance.KG” Ilgiz Kambarov signed the membership agreement.
Kuban Matraimov believes, the CAREC’s membership in ALE “Green Alliance.KG” will broaden CAREC’s cooperation with NGOs of Kyrgyzstan on green economy and sustainable development. Today ALE unites over 50 organizations and citizens who represent the interests of civil society, independent experts, farmers, businesses and academia.
“The Green Alliance.KG membership will help us prepare and implement joint projects with other environmental NGOs and promote CAREC throughout the region,” thinks Kuban
Recall, one of CAREC goals is to promote intersectoral dialogue among government agencies, NGOs, local communities, the private sector and donor organizations on issues of environmental sustainability in the Central Asian region.
