Regional One Health program in Central Asia

April 23, 2026, CACCC-2026 will host a session on the implementation of the regional One Health approach in Central Asia, including the Central Asia Regional One Health Program, launched in July 2025 and implemented by the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) with financial support from the World Bank Group.

The event focuses on exploring the interconnections between climate change, human and animal health, ecosystem conditions, and food security in the Central Asian region.


Participants will focus on integrating climate risks into healthcare systems and the agri-food sector, strengthening cross-sectoral collaboration, and improving data sharing.

Recall, CACCC-2026 will take place within the Regional Ecological Summit in Astana, April 22-24, 2026.
