The Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) agreed to establish a registry to record Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) and to facilitate matching of finance, technology and capacity building support for their implementation. The registry is considered an essential tool to accelerate mitigation action in developing countries and support provided by developed countries. The goal of the project is to advance the design and implementation of the registry by providing public analytical support which aims to feed into UNFCCC processes.

The project aimed to support Central Asian countries in developing a comprehensive policy framework for mitigating climate change and moving towards a low carbon, climate-friendly development path.
