A Final Conference of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Secretariat financed "The Regional Approaches for Combating Sand and Dust Storm and Drought in CA" project will take place on 21st October, 2021.
The Conference will be held in a hybrid format and focus on presenting the project results and discussing the forward-looking plans to implement activities identified in "the Regional Strategy for Drought Management and Mitigation in CA for 2021-2030" and "the Regional Mid-term Strategy for Sand and Dust Storm Management in CA for 2021-2030" and seeking synergies in ongoing and planned international and regional initiatives on drought and SDS.
