The webinar "NGOs of Central Asia: Participation in International, Regional and National Climate Initiatives" will take place this Thursday, July 30, 2020, from 16:00 to 18:00 Almaty time.
The event was organized by the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC) within the framework of Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin (#CAMP4ASB) with the financial support of the World Bank, together with the Climate Action Network for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia (CAN EECCA) and the Regional Climate NGO Network of Central Asia.
The purpose of the online event is to exchange information between NGOs on planned international and regional activities against climate change, and the work carried out at the national level.
Thus, this webinar is an excellent chance for NGOs’ interaction on climate change issues under the quarantine conditions.
The webinar's participants include representatives of non-governmental organizations, media and eco-activists interested in the climate issues of Central Asia.
