Nexus Newsletter (Issue No. 9)
The project to foster a multisectoral approach (Nexus) is being implemented not only in Central Asia, but also in the Middle East and North Africa, Niger Basin, Latin America and South Africa regions with the support of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
In terms of sharing experience and knowledge between regions and stakeholders, the Global Nexus Secretariat has initiated a quarterly newsletter. `
In the first edition, you will find useful information on the constructive way forward for the WEF Nexus approach in academia and the perspectives on the application of Solar-Powered-Irrigation Systems (SPIS) with a Nexus approach. The newsletter also offers an outlook on some recent events such as World Water Day on March 22 and a FAO-led webinar series on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.
