UZBEKISTAN - The partners of the Ramsar Regional Initiative project (RRI-CA), the Department of Ecology of the Navoi Region (Uzbekistan), together with the Navoi Regional branch of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan and the Regional Department of Information and Mass Communications, organized a press tour for media representatives and bloggers within the framework of the World Wetlands Day.
The press conference was held at the resort near the Tudakul reservoir. During the event, the information on the work carried out by Uzbekistan on the protection of wetlands was provided.
At the end of the press conference, a trip to the Tudakul and Kuyumazar reservoirs for media representatives and bloggers was organized as part of the press tour.
CAREC implements the “Ramsar Regional Initiative for Central Asia” project in the partnership with the Ramsar Convention Secretariat under the financial support of German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
