We are pleased to announce that the USAID Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment Activity in cooperation with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) has launched a Community of Practice platform hosted on the Eurasian River Basin Portal. We invite everyone to join the platform and use its resources.
The Community of Practice Platform was created to bring together academics, students, researchers, government agencies, international organizations and other stakeholders with an interest in topics related to the fields of water, energy, food and the environment (WEFE).
In addition to the database of Central Asian academics, international experts and civil servants, the platform presents various knowledge products (courses, lectures, publications, podcasts, videos), news and announcements about significant events related to WEFE security. The platform also provides an opportunity to study online and receive certificates, participate in online discussions and keep in touch with colleagues from all five Central Asian countries.
CAREC implements the project “Support for the USAID Reginal Water and Vulnerable Environment” in partnership with the USAID WAVE under financial support of the USAID.”
