The Community of Practice platform offers to get acquainted with the materials of lectures on the promotion of the Nexus approach “Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems” (WEFE Nexus). These lectures are conducted online on a regular basis by the USAID Central Asia’s Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment Activity.
The lectures are aimed at forming a new understanding of the WAFE Nexus approach and increasing the level of application of this approach in Central Asian countries. They raise awareness of the WEFE Nexus approach, the potential of stakeholders at various levels, and form a critical mass of understanding of WEFE Nexus.
The lectures are attended by highly qualified specialists such as Alexander Nikolaenko, Iskandar Abdullaev, Malika Ikramova, Sanjay Giri, etc. In the lecture materials you can find videos of lectures and presentations by speakers.

The Community of Practice platform is a communication and outreach platform for bringing together representatives of educational institutions, research institutions, government agencies, international organizations, youth and other stakeholders. The platform was created in 2022 by USAID WAVE in collaboration with CAREC on the basis of the Eurasian River Basin Portal (riverbp.net).
