UNFCCC COP28: Security and Integration in Central Asia

Dubai – UAE – UNFCCC COP28 CA Pavilion – December 10 – The side event «Water-Energy-Food-Environment Security and Integration of Central Asia» discussed the key aspects of combating climate change in the context of water, energy, food, and other natural resources.

The side event brought together representatives of international climate organizations, industry leaders from international financial institutions and funds, and experts.

The discussion focused on the importance of sustainable natural resource management systems in the Central Asian region, where the interconnecting interests of different countries require coordinated efforts.

The side event discussed strategies for integrating the national policies of Central Asian countries to ensure the sustainability and security of resources needed for the prosperity of the population and ecosystems of Central Asia.
