The REAP project team has been invited to participate in the European Union Festival and Exhibition to be held on 18 May 2024, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This year's exhibition is timed to coincide with the celebration of 30 years of partnership between the European Union and Uzbekistan.
This event is a key event for presenting the results of EU-funded projects, as well as for exchanging experiences and ideas between representatives of EU Member States, partners and stakeholders.
For the REAP project team, participation in this exhibition will allow to demonstrate the project achievements, show real examples of implementation of Sustainable Consumption and Production ("SCP") practices in practice at the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The REAP project is implemented by an international consortium under financial support of the European Union. The consortium comprises the National Association of Small and Medium Businesses of Tajikistan (NAMSB), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan (CCIU), the German Consulting Office adelphi, the Association for the Promotion of Recycling and Environmental Protection in Austria (AREC), STENUM Asia Sustainable Development Society (STENUM Asia), and the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). The consortium is led by the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC).
