Within the framework of implementing the "Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for Aral Sea Basin" (CAMP4ASB) project's national component in the Republic of Tajikistan, there are loans allocated to address pressing issues related to adaptation to climate change.
Within the framework of the implementation of the project in Tajikistan, a "Success Story" competition was held. The competition is dedicated to climate change issues in the Aral Sea basin.
On 10-13 August 2020, the Project Implementation Center team under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan held the award ceremony for the winners of the "Success Story" competition. The award ceremony took place at the following financial institutions: MDO Humo CJSC, Imon International CJSC and Arvand Bank CJSC. All the activities were carried out in compliance with the necessary sanitary and epidemiological precautions.
As a result of the competition, three finalists were awarded. Thanks to the funding at the reduced interest rate, the finalists were able to achieve the best results, and their business success stories were recognized as the most innovative ones. Also, employees of the organization itself were awarded for the successful implementation of the project.
During the ceremony, commemorative prizes, certificates and sets of personal protective equipment (disposable and reusable masks, antiseptics) were presented.
