A One Health scientific event will be organized in Bishkek on Tuesday 15 September 2026. This message is a call for Central Asia One Health researchers, scientists and implementers to submit abstracts for oral presentations and/or posters.
Please submit your proposal by 26 July 2026 to Dr. Kairat Tabynov, One Health Veterinary Specialist at CAREC, at kairat.tabynov@gmail.com, with a copy to Oxana Kravtsova, Project Coordinator, at okravtsova@carececo.org.
The proposal should present research or implementation of One Health activities in Central Asia, and should be structured as follows:
· Background: purpose and objective of the research/activity, the hypothesis that was tested, or a description of the activity that was piloted or conducted.
· Method description: setting/location, design, targeted/studied population, data collection, and methods of analysis used.
· Results: findings/outcome, with specific results and lessons learned.
· Conclusions
The abstract is limited to 500 words.
The Scientific Committee will select the best proposals based on the technical and scientific robustness and on the quality of the lessons learned. Consideration will also be given to the country, age and gender to give opportunities to all.
Authors of the top-ranked abstracts will be proposed an oral presentation; others will be proposed a poster presentation. Travel and accommodation fees will be covered for speakers (oral presentation) and for the main authors of the 5 top-ranked posters.
