On 24th of January, Ramsar Regional Initiative for Central Asia (RRI-CA) participated in the Ramsar Regional Initiative (RRI) Annual Planning Meeting held by the Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands.
The online meeting provided a platform for 57 representatives from 13 different RRIs to present main results of 2022 and exchange ideas on activities for 2023.
Strategies for enhanced linkage with the work of the Secretariat were discussed as well as the fulfillment of the instructions provided in the Resolutions of the Ramsar Convention.
Also, the participants shared the experience on resource mobilization for RRIs.
