General information
The project aims to improve awareness, knowledge, and collaboration among state servants and regional stakeholders to promote environmentally sustainable practices by adopting Best Available Techniques (BAT) principles and the use of BAT reference documents (BREFs).
This initiative, based on the adoption of Best Available Techniques (BAT) in comprehensive environmental permits, is not only aimed at improving compliance with environmental regulations but also has the potential to serve as a valuable example and catalyst for environmentally sustainable and inclusive economic development in Central Asia and beyond.
Objectives of the project
The project objective is to enable industry representatives and environmental authorities of the Central Asia countries to access different tools, options, and experiences of the OECD countries and encourage them to be eco-friendly and more efficient, reducing waste and lowering their environmental impact.
