The project to foster a multisectoral approach (Nexus) is being implemented not only in Central Asia, but also in the Middle East and North Africa, Niger Basin, Latin America and South Africa regions with the support of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
In terms of sharing experience and knowledge between regions and stakeholders, the Global Nexus Secretariat has initiated a quarterly newsletter. `
In the first edition, you will find useful information on food security and empowerment of women in Niger using solar irrigation systems, a series of interviews on the Nexus project in Latin America and the recording of webinars on the multi-sectoral approach as part of the Water for Development 2020 week which took place online from 23 to 28 August in Stockholm, Sweden.
